Classes

We provide classes in two formats, blended learning (hybrid class) combines the flexibility of online with hands-on training with an instructor, or by request regular instructor led classroom with video presentation, lecture and hands-on training, kept updated with latest science and standards by Red Cross.  Classes are available every day or on request.

Designed By the Red Cross, to help non medical professionals provide assistance in times of emergency, the courses allow you to gain an understanding of first aid best practices for a wide range of conditions, a few examples are:

Q: What is the Blended Learning?

A: Red Cross developed a hybrid class of online learning and instructor-led skill session.

Q: Am I required to complete an online portion prior to attending the class?

A: Yes, If  your taking Blended Learning Class, before an instructor skill portion. Page found in (Getting Started)

Q: American Red Cross and American Heart Association training differ?

A: The American Red Cross follows the AHA guidelines for CPR & Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) 2015 guidelines in designing its training courses and certification, also the AHA and the ARC jointly co-authored and released the 2015 Guidelines Update for First Aid. They partnered to develop guidelines for first aid since 2005. Inclusion the training have very little difference in terms of course content.

Q: What course certification do I need?

A: We highly recommend Adult and Pediatric First Aid & CPR/AED to parents, non-medical professionals from construction workers to day care workers  to take this certification. We also have Adult First Aid & CPR/AED for people not working with small children. And Basic Life Support for healthcare professionals.

Q: What certification classes do you offer?

A: We currently offer full certification for both together or separate Adult and Pediatric(infant) First Aid, Cardiopulmonary resuscitation & Automated External Defibrillator use (CPR/AED) and  we will offer Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider by August 2018.

Q:What is Included in the Course when I Pay for the class Fee?

A: The class pricing only includes the cost of class and the CPR certification at the end of class.

Q: How do I get my certification?

A:You will receive an email containing a link to your digital certificate once you successfully passed your class with your instructor on behalf of the Red Cross. Participants who do not receive an email from the Red Cross can go to redcross.org/getcertificate to obtain their digital certificate.

ADULT & PEDIATRIC FIRST AID/CPR/AED
ADULT & PEDIATRIC FIRST AID/CPR/AED will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants.
BLOOD PATHOGEN
Blood Pathogen will prepare you to guard against infectious microorganisms in human blood that can cause disease in humans.
BASIC LIFE SUPPORT
Basic life support (BLS) is a level of medical care which is used for victims of life-threatening illnesses or injuries until they can be given full medical care at a hospital. It can be provided by trained medical personnel, including emergency medical technicians, paramedics, and by qualified bystanders.
